The Pesky Taniwha.
A long time ago I remember a story about a Taniwha.He was Sly,a bully and wicked. He lived in the Tamaki Estuary. I don't want to ever meet him in my nightmares. He looks scary to me.
One night my class and I planned to catch the persky taniwha. It was well known for toppling the fishing boats. We would catch it and make it the school pet.
I bought a fish net to catch the taniwha but the taniwha snapped the fish net. I got a stronger net at another shop. Our class caught the taniwha. We bought a pool so the taniwha could live in it.
